Club Sports Finder, LLC (“Company,” ‘we,” or “our”) believes reviews are an important source of information for the public to help athletes choose the right club sport organization or allied professional for them. The Company also believes that reviews are an important source of feedback to club sport organizations and allied professionals. Whether feedback is positive or negative, we want to give club sport organizations and allied professionals the option to respond to reviews.
Club sport organizations and allied professionals are expected to respond to reviews in a manner that is respectful, accurate, and consistent with applicable laws, this Policy, our Terms of Use and the policies, guidelines and subscriptions referenced in the Terms of Use (collectively, together with this Policy, the “Platform Agreement”).
By submitting a response to a review, you accept the terms of the Platform Agreement and acknowledge and agree that your response may be used by our Platform in accordance with the Platform Agreement, and that you are responsible for compliance with applicable laws regarding your response.
General Principles.
- Responses should be professional, respectful, and focused on resolving issues.
- Avoid defensive or retaliatory language, even if the review is negative or unfair.
- Remember that responses are public and reflect the reputation of your business or organization.
Accuracy and Truthfulness.
- Only provide information that is accurate and verifiable.
- Do not make misleading statements, false claims, or promises that cannot be fulfilled.
- If correcting an inaccuracy in a review, do so factually and politely without disparaging the reviewer.
Confidentiality and Privacy.
- Never disclose personal, private, or sensitive information about a reviewer, customer, client, or employee.
- When addressing service issues, keep responses general and invite the reviewer to continue the conversation privately (e.g., by email or phone).
Respect and Professionalism.
- Thank reviewers for their feedback, whether positive or negative.
- Show empathy in addressing complaints and acknowledge the reviewer’s perspective.
- Avoid arguments, insults, or hostile tones, even if the review is unfair
Legal Considerations.
- Do not threaten legal action, retaliation, or negative consequences against reviewers.
- Do not engage in defamation (making false statements that could harm the reviewer’s reputation).
- Do not attempt to intimidate, coerce, or pressure a reviewer to remove or alter a review.
- Comply with all applicable consumer protection, advertising, and unfair practices laws.
- Do not use copyrighted content, images, or text without permission in a response.
Do Not Incentivize or Manipulate Reviews.
Do not offer compensation, discounts, or benefits in exchange for changing or removing a review.
Do not post fake reviews or respond as someone other than an authorized representative of your business.
Do not encourage employees, agents, or affiliates to misrepresent their relationship to the business.
Constructive Action.
Where possible, explain steps being taken to address the concern raised in the review.
Encourage private follow-up to resolve disputes or gather more details.
Use feedback as an opportunity to improve services or products.
The Company’s Rights.
In addition to the rights and remedies set forth in other sections of the Platform Agreement and in no way in limitation of any other rights and remedies at law or in equity, the Company shall have the right to remove or restrict responses that violate this Policy.
