What is the purpose of Club Sports Finder?
Club Sports Finder is designed to facilitate ideal connections between athletes, club sport organizations, and allied professionals. We also aim to provide valuable content to promote the positive, holistic development of athletes.
How do I update my profile?
Log in to your account and navigate to “My Account” to edit information, upload new images, and manage your contact details.
How do I find a club that fits my goals?
To find a club that fits your unique goals, use our search filters to browse clubs by sport and location. Clubs that have memberships on Club Sports Finder are able to provide much greater in-depth information about their club and offerings, such as training philosophy, facilities, coaches, age groups, and more.
Who can create a profile on Club Sports Finder?
Three types of users can create profiles on Club Sports Finder:
Athletes – Athletes 13 years of age and older can create a profile on Club Sports Finder. If under 18 years old, parental permission is required to create a profile.
Club Sport Organizations – Club Sport Organizations in the following sports are welcome to create a profile on Club Sports Finder: Volleyball (boys and girls), Baseball, Softball, Soccer (boys and girls), Basketball (boys and girls), Ice Hockey (boys and girls), Lacrosse (boys and girls), Swimming (boys and girls), and Field Hockey
Allied Professionals – Allied professionals (such as private coaches, personal trainers, sports psychologists, physical therapists, and nutritionists) who work directly with athletes are welcome to create a profile on Club Sports Finder.
What Sports are Included?
Volleyball, soccer, basketball, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, baseball, softball, swimming.
I’m an athlete and I want to allow clubs to contact me directly if they’re interested in having me play for them. How do they find me?
Clubs that have premium memberships will have access to your contact information if you, as an athlete, have chosen to allow that information to be shared.
Our program was bought/sold/renamed. Will old reviews carry over? Do we need to make a new account?
If your club is renamed or gets bought/sold, simply change the name in your account. All information contained in your profile and reviews associated with your club will carry over. There is no need to make a new account.
Is Club Sports Finder available internationally or only in the U.S.?
Club Sports Finder is only available in the U.S.
For Athletes
Do I need to create an athlete profile to use the platform?
You can browse clubs without a profile, but creating one allows clubs to find you, and gives you access to additional features.
Can clubs see my personal information?
Clubs can view your athlete profile if you choose to make your profile public when you sign up. You can change views in your profile at any point.
How can I find a club that fits my goals?
Use our search filters to browse clubs by sport, location, or age group. Each club profile includes details about training philosophy, facilities, and coaches.
For Clubs
Are there fees to create a profile for my club?
Basic profiles are free. Premium profiles include additional features such as priority placement in search results, photo galleries, and video embeds.
For Allied Resources
How do I promote my services?
Create a professional profile, list your credentials, and share resources or articles to demonstrate your expertise.
Membership Options and Pricing
What membership options are available for athletes?
Athletes can choose from a Free, Standard, and Premium Membership Profile. The Free Membership allows you to list basic information related to your sport and your contact information, if you choose to share it with clubs that have a Premium Membership. The Standard Membership Profile ($9.99/month or $100/year) allows you to create a much more in-depth profile, including relevant stats and awards, and the opportunity to include 10 images. For those athletes looking to play in college, our Premium Membership ($19.99/month or $200/year) allows you to also include your GPA/Standardized test scores, 20 images, and 4 embedded videos to give both clubs and college coaches a more comprehensive picture of what you offer as an athlete.
How old do you have to be to create an athlete profile?
You must be at least 13 years old to create an athlete profile. Athletes under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian’s permission to create a profile.
What information in an athlete's profile is publicly viewable?
Any information you include in your profile, except for your contact information (phone and email), will be publicly viewable on the website. Contact information will be available only to club team organizations that have a Premium Membership on Club Sports Finder. However, you can also keep your contact information completely confidential via a setting in your profile.
What is included in a free club listing?
Clubs that are listed for free are only able to include their name, website, and location.
What membership options are available for Club Sport Organizations?
Club Sport Organizations have the option to purchase a Standard Membership ($29.99/month or $300/year) or a Premium Membership ($49.99/month or $500/year). The Standard Membership allows your club to appear above all Free club listings in search results and gives your organization the opportunity to create an in-depth profile that includes your narrative, philosophy, coach profiles, team offerings, travel/tournament information, tuition, and achievements. Standard membership also has the option of adding announcements, such as tryouts, to our Announcement section of our homepage, uploading 5-10 images, and the opportunity to respond to reviews of your organization left by visitors.
The added benefits of our Premium Club Membership include priority placement in all search results, the option to include multiple locations, and the ability to upload 10-20 images and 1 video. Premium membership also gives you the important ability to display your organization's current roster openings and to have direct access to the contact information in our database of athletes.
Who are Allied Professionals?
Allied Professionals are those professionals who are involved in supporting athletes in reaching their goals and maximizing their success. Allied professionals include Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Private Coaches, Personal Trainers, Sports Psychologists, Mental Skill Trainers, Physical Therapists, Nutritionists, etc.
What does a membership for Allied Professionals include?
Allied Professionals can join for $29.99/month or $300/year.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time in your account settings. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
Is there a contract or commitment required?
No long-term contracts are required. Membership is month-to-month or annual, and you can cancel at any time.
Can I pause my membership?
No, you cannot pause your membership. You would have to cancel your membership and then rejoin when you are ready.
Review-Related Questions
Who can leave a review for a club?
Any athlete or parent/guardian of an athlete who has taken part in at least one season with a club can leave a review for that club. You may not leave reviews for clubs you or your athlete has not participated in directly. Any individual who leaves a review for a club they are not, or have not, been affiliated with will be reported and taken down.
Can I leave a review anonymously?
No, all reviews will be associated with an account and will be publicly viewable.
Who moderates reviews?
Reviews are posted automatically. Reviews will be monitored, and anyone can report a review they would like investigated by contacting support@clubsportsfinder.com.
I want to leave a review for a program my team played. Can I do that?
No, you must have taken part in at least one season with a club to leave a review. You may not review opponents. In order to leave a review for a club, you must be currently or previously affiliated with that club. Any individual who leaves a review for a club they are not affiliated with or have not been affiliated with will be reported, and the review will be taken down.
Do I have to fill out all the parts of the review?
No, but we encourage you to fill out the review as completely as possible to give others a more accurate assessment of your experience.
I would like to change/delete my review of a previous club. Is this possible?
Yes, athletes and parents can change or delete reviews any time after they’ve been published.
As a club, we feel that a review of our program is dishonest or fake. Is there a way to remove it?
Reviews may be flagged for investigation by our team. If you would like to bring a review to our attention to investigate, contact us at support@clubsportsfinder.com. If our team finds the review to be valid, it will remain. If it violates our terms and conditions, it will be removed. We encourage clubs to publicly respond to any negative reviews.
A coach who received negative reviews is no longer with the program. Is it possible to remove the reviews referencing this coach?
As long as a review does not violate our terms and conditions, it will remain. However, we encourage clubs to publicly explain how you may have addressed, or plan to address, any negative situations with coaches or other negative feedback.
Announcements
Who can post an announcement on the Club Sports Finder homepage?
Any Club Sport Organization with a paid membership subscription can post an announcement. Any announcement must follow our Announcement Guidelines.
Billing and Payments
How does billing work?
Memberships are billed monthly or annually (depending on what option you choose at registration) to the credit card you provide during registration. Payments are automatically renewed each month or year unless you cancel.
How are payments processed?
Payments are processed using Stripe, an independent payment processing company.
What happens if my payment does not go through successfully?
An email will be sent to inform you that your payment did not go through. Your profile will be put on hold and moved down to a Free listing until your payment goes through successfully.
What happens if my membership expires?
If your membership expires, an email will be sent to the email on file, and your profile will be moved down to a Free profile until payment is received to resume your membership.
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time through your account settings. Your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Once a payment has been processed, it is non-refundable, even if you cancel before the end of the billing period.
Account and Support
How do I update my profile or payment information?
Log in to your account and go to the "Account Settings" section. From there, you can update your profile details or payment method.
How do I change the email or username on my account?
You can change your email or username on your account by choosing that option in the “Account Settings” section.
What if I can’t log in or never received my password reset email?
If you’re having trouble logging in, please reach out to us at support@clubsportsfinder.com, and we will respond Monday through Friday, generally within 48 hours.
What if I forget my password?
Click “Forgot Password?” on the login page, and follow the instructions to reset it via email.

How is my data protected on Club Sports Finder?
Club Sports Finder does not store any financial data. All financial transactions are conducted using a third party vendor Stripe, which uses only a token on our website. All other information is stored on an AWS server and protected in accordance with their policies.
What should I do if I accidentally create two accounts?
Delete the account you don’t want to use by logging into that account, going to Account Settings, and choosing to cancel the account. Our system prohibits multiple uses of the same email.
